Description
POSiCS is an Horizon 2020 ATTRACT founded project aiming to build a scalable and portable wireless $\gamma$-camera for Radio-Guided Surgeries (RGS). This device is based on an innovative position-sensitive Silicon Photo-Multiplier (SiPM) designed and produced by Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK). The project is being carried out by Professor Della Volpe's Group with the collaboration of FBK and the HUG - Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève. We will present the latest progress on the characterization of the prototype from the calibration procedure to the first images obtained in the lab.
