Description
My research focuses on the search of New Physics with hadrons arriving late to the ATLAS calorimeter. This talk will explain why signatures with unusually timed final states compared to the SM particles are a promising avenue for discovering New Physics. It will also discuss the unique backgrounds that this search must address, especially those arising from interactions between the beam and the LHC’s own material.
